I think that it’s time to start talking about this group of young talents who met at Alchimia and decided to join their efforts and promote their own view on jewellery.
The 9 girls from Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Turkey, Greece, Japan, Germany, Australia, Costa Rica and Lebanon (and yes, you counted correctly, they come from 9 different countries) will present their work at the Lalaouni Jewellery Museum right here in Athens from 09.11-31.12.2011.
If you want to take a look at what contemporary jewellery really looks like (and we don’t get so many chances to do that here in Greece), you can combine a visit at the museum with a stroll along the Acropolis afterwards and think about how talent and imagination can unite so many different cultures.
