HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody!
Santa took the time to drop by our chimney one night and brought me a couple of (surprise, surprise…) contemporary-jewellery-related goodies that I’ve been planning on getting for months now.
Here’s what I’ve been playing with in the last few days.
– On Jewellery: A Compendium of International Contemporary Art Jewellery by Liesbeth den Besten. I had read several of her articles on Klimt02 and found myself feeling really jealous of her vast knowledge and experience on the subject so this book has been on my “must-have” list ever since its publication was announced.
– Contemporary Jewellers: Interviews with European Artists by Roberta Bernabei. Ok, this book has insightful and inspiring interviews with some of the most imporant masters of the art. How could I not be interested in it? Another “must-have” for me.
So, while I’m expanding my contemporary jewellery horizons, why don’t you take a break from whatever you’re doing and enjoy the following pictures?
