In case you’ve never understood the connection between eggs, bunnies and the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, let me tell you that there really is one.
Seriously.
Of course, it has absolutely nothing to do with christianity as we know it and has everything to do with very old, paganistic rituals, a German fertility goddess, the celebration of the circle of life and death, bloody eggs and hermaphrodite bunnies.
However, even though part of my mission is to inform you, if you’ve read other posts in my young, beloved blog you’ll realize that I am not here to explain to you why (or how) virgin bunnies reproduce but to smother you with pictures of magnificent jewellery.
So, for the sake of little children around the world, let’s pretend that bunnies do carry eggs in baskets. Let’s pretend that bunnies do have opposable thumbs. And let’s pretend that the following pieces look like happy easter eggs.
Happy Easter everybody!
