Your grandmother’s fine china set might look impressive and elegant (and totally out of fashion…) when whole, but don’t you get the urge to accidentaly break it so that you can create something new and maybe more interesting? No? Is it just me?
Motivated by a friendly donation of a broken porcelain plate last weekend (and although I was in the vicinity when the plate broke, I assure you that I had absolutely nothing to do with its demise), I’m now on a research spree for jewellery objects that have components or are made of porcelain.
